Cork based Fuzion Communications has been shortlisted for a coveted Award for Excellence in Public Relations and is the only PR firm with a Head Office outside of Dublin to have been selected. The leading agency beat tough competition to be shortlisted in the category of Best Public Affairs Campaign for its work with the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland.

On Wednesday 19th May, inspirational 90 year old, Isolde McCullagh, from Bray, Co. Wicklow launches her new book, "Never Too Late - A Series of Exercises for All Ages". The book gives a glimpse into the life of this fascinating lady, and all funds raised through its sale will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI).

The Cork Convention Bureau organised a special Members Forum on Wednesday 12th May at the Metropole Hotel, Cork to brief member hotels of the recent wins and forthcoming work of the organisation which was set up specifically to attract more Business Tourism to Cork.
