Network Ireland is an organisation for enterprising women in business, the professions and the arts.  Network Ireland gives members the platform to engage with like minded women throughout the country, sharing ideas, knowledge and contacts, providing a mutual support mechanism and creating a positive and fresh approach to professional and personal development for women at all stages of their career or business.

President of Network Ireland, Olwen Dawe recently commented on the upcoming International Women’s Day event saying, ‘We are delighted to be hosting such an event that celebrates Irish women and indeed women internationally. We’re a voluntary representative organisation for enterprising women across a range of sectors, both professional and business owners - we’ve supported our members through a challenging period of time, and are now continuing to foster their potential. Personally, I also hope economic stability and development continues - Ireland has come through one of the most turbulent economic periods in its history, which has taken its toll in more ways than one.  Stabilisation is definitely supporting the ‘green shoots’ but we need to ensure they set down strong roots for the future. At Network Ireland, we can continue to do this through events like this’

The International Women’s Day Celebration event will take place between 12:30pm - 4:30pm at Trinity College in Dublin. The half day event including lunch will be an opportunity for over 200 women from professional and business sectors throughout Ireland to join together for this special day, sharing ideas and contacts, making new friends and business contacts in a relaxed and informative setting. Tickets are on sale from Wednesday 18th February and available through www.networkireland.ie.  The event is open to non-members with special ticket price for members.
