A New Look to Killarney Outlet Centre to Celebrate 9th Birthday

12 September 2008

As part of their 9th Birthday Celebrations, Killarney Outlet Centre have unveiled a new look - with strong emphasis on the Kerry colours to reflect the position the Centre has created for itself in Kerry, as one of the top destination shopping centres in the area with over 2 million visitors every year.

Shoppers will notice branded shopping bags sporting the new Killarney Outlet Centre logo. And on those wet and rainy days (which we are seeing so many of!), brand new Killarney Outlet Centre umbrella's will come in very handy!

Passers-by may have already seen the new signage on the outside of the building, but may not have seen the updated Killarney Outlet Centre website, www.killarneyoutletcentre.com. The new website is easy to navigate, and is updated constantly with new special offers and competitions. Guests to the website can sign up for the Killarney Outlet Centre E-zine, which keeps them up to date with all the centre's news, and each month they have the chance to win a fantastic shopping spree in the Killarney Outlet Centre with accommodation in some of Killarney's most popular hotels.

Speaking on the new branding, Paul Sherry, Killarney Outlet Centre Manager said: "In the past eight years the Killarney Outlet Centre has proven to be a favourite attraction with both locals and tourists alike, offering shoppers a unique mix of retailers, and we felt it was time to update our branding and give the centre a brand new look. The centre offers a shopping experience that is different from the traditional shopping centre; and has visitor numbers, almost 2 million a year, that are the envy of most retail centres throughout Ireland."

With the current economic climate, Killarney Outlet Centre will play an even bigger role for retail in the area, offering the perfect solution to shoppers as the "Credit Crunch" continues to bite. The Centre recently held a huge Clearance Event, the biggest of its kind, which proved very successful and even as purse strings begin to tighten, shoppers could afford to impulse buy without feeling guilty.  Shoppers experienced some great value retail therapy without doing major damage to their credit cards.

The new branding is launched just as the Killarney Outlet Centre has announced that is looking to expand its proposition for shoppers by offering a new shopping experience on the first floor of the Centre.  A new street, for Killarney, one which offers destination shopping at its best - a "Carnaby Street" concept with an eclectic mix of stores - all on one floor.

Paul Sherry, Centre Manager stated "It is the perfect time for both retailers and shoppers to look at the value there is to be had from our retail proposition at the moment. It is our aim to keep our shoppers happy, and keep the Centre fresh and appealing to all. I feel our new branding is introduced at the perfect time."

Killarney Outlet Centre is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.
