2016 Rose of Tralee, Maggie McEldowney popped in to meet the Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty team in Tralee over St. Patrick’s weekend. The multi-award winning salon group is once again the Official Hair Partner for the Rose of Tralee International Festival, which will take place from 16th to 22rd August 2017.

Last year, Maggie along with her fellow international Rose contestants had the pleasure of being styled, pampered and cared for by the well-known Kerry hairdressing chain, recognised for its impeccable head to toe service.

The exceptionally talented Sean Taaffe Group is the perfect partner to this iconic occasion where women from throughout the globe gather in Tralee to take part in the Rose of Tralee 2017.

Speaking about the Rose of Tralee festival, Sean Taaffe said, “Last year was such an amazing experience for the Sean Taaffe team. A lot of work goes into organising such a large event and we are honoured to be partnered with the Rose of Tralee for a second year. Throughout the event the buzz and excitement is simply contagious, and we just love getting to know all the girls who are inspiring, ambitious and a pleasure to work with.”

Anthony O'Gara, Managing Director, Rose of Tralee International Festival stated, “Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty are a great example of a successful and creative Kerry business and we are delighted to have them back on board, two great Kerry brands working together.  It’s a challenging role looking after such a wide variety of Roses, having to work to strict itineraries, with intense demand for the Roses, especially during Festival week.  Last year, nothing was too much trouble for Sean and his team, the looks his team created for the Roses during the TV shows and for the various events were superb.  We look forward to working with them in 2017 on another successful Rose of Tralee Festival.”

Sean Taaffe followed a dream 27 years ago and opened his first salon on Langford Street, Killorglin. Sean’s dream has resulted in a group of award winning, respected and well-known hair and beauty salons throughout Kerry with a team of nearly 60 dedicated professionals. Sean also heads up his own hairdressing academy, and he believes that education is the key to success and this ethos can been seen in all his salons.
