Over 1,500 people from all over Ireland today took part in the second annual Down Syndrome Ireland Purple Run in the Phoenix Park.
Down Syndrome Ireland along with Matt Cooper, encouraged participants to ‘Run with Us, not for us’ to celebrate people with Down syndrome in Ireland.
This event saw families, friends and supporters of people with Down syndrome run, walk, and push a buggy over the 1km and 5km course in support of World Down Syndrome Day
