Manor West Shopping Centre and Retail Park is gearing up for its Summer Food and Craft Fair which will take place on Saturday 29th July from 12noon to 5pm. The Summer event is the first in a series of markets which will take place this year.

The food and crafts fair held in Manor West in past years are always a big draw and it’s an opportunity to celebrate the wealth of artisan producers who have thriving businesses in the Kingdom.  An interesting and eclectic mix of local businesses will be showcasing their goods on the day, with produce such as artisan cheeses, spanish cuisine, spices and seasonings, homemade cakes, jams and health snacks. There will also be some beautiful handmade creations, wood burning pieces and much more.

Speaking about the fair, Melanie Harty from Harty’s Foods said,”I just love taking part in the Manor West fairs. It’s a fantastic opportunity for all local business people to showcase their produce and creations as well as test any new ideas that they are trying to introduce to market. Derek has always been a great supporter of us and in return we are of him and Manor West”.

The fair promises to be a fun filled day out for all the family with balloon modellers, face painters and popular characters from the Kingdom Party Pals as well as Tony the Magician. Radio Kerry will also be there during the day chatting with some of the producers and craftspeople, playing great music, taking requests from visitors to the centre and there will be an opportunity to win some special spot prizes!

Looking forward to the fair, Derek Rusk, Centre Manager said,”Supporting local is something everyone here at Manor West is very passionate about and we are delighted to be able to hold a Summer event that allows local artisan producers to showcase their products lovingly made in Kerry as well as offer a new experience to visitors - both local and the many holiday makers stopping off at Manor West. We hope everyone comes out to show their support and enjoys all the fun on the day”.
