Multi-Award Winning James Whelan Butchers will open their Dunnes Stores, Cornelscourt butcher shop for 96 hours straight in the lead up to Christmas Day. The perfect safety net for any last minute Turkey and Ham shoppers or in case you forget to take the meat out of the freezer on time and are looking for some tasty party food for friends and family!

Known for their craft butchery excellence and expertise, the Cornelscourt butcher shop will open its doors from 7am on Thursday 21st December until 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Speaking about the decision to open for 96 hours straight in support of the Christmas rush, Pat Whelan of James Whelan Butchers said, “It’s quite amazing to look back on the last few years and see how much our small business has grown and is still growing. To be able to operate on a 24 hour basis in the lead up to Christmas is fantastic and hopefully we can help any last minute Christmas food shoppers out of any sticky situations!”
