Undoubtedly the current economic climate has resulted in the growth of entrepreneurs who are thinking of starting a new business.  Developing new ideas and supporting businesses is the only way out of this downturn. It is hoped that that the winning idea will in time create a viable and sustainable business thus creating employment. However, this business package is also open to businesses who may already be established but are hoping to branch out into other locations perhaps benefitting from a base in Cork.

Spearheading the campaign is Helen Crowley from the Waterfront Business Centre who says;

"Businesses today need to be flexible so that they can respond quickly to changes and our offices provide companies with the ability to expand or contract without having to invest in a physical location. We are providing the winner a foothold in a prime city centre location. It's a fabulous opportunity for a start up company or perhaps a company based in another area of Ireland who are thinking of having a base in Cork. In relation to this the support in terms of advertising from RSVP Business,Financial accounting from Roberts Nathan Corporate & Private and the branding and pr advice from Fuzion Communications is priceless"

Michael Mulcahy from RSVP Business stated "Stimulating Business is an essential part of our economy at present and on behalf of our national business magazine RSVP Business I am delighted to join forces with Vivian, Peter, Helen and Greg to be able to contribute a €10,000 advertising spend to the winner of this exciting competition. The entire package of €30,000 will be a tremendous asset to any business and I would live to see more initiatives like this taking place around Ireland.
