Christmas Craft and Food Fair - Solving Christmas Shopping Headaches in One Fell Swoop!

20 November 2009

As part of this year's Christmas in Killarney Festival, the annual Christmas Craft and Food Fair takes place on Sunday 29th November at the The Malton Hotel, Killarney from 12pm to 6pm.  This well established Fair promises to be bigger and better than ever, combining over one hundred arts, crafts and food stalls, offering Christmas Shoppers the opportunity to shop early and avoid the usual last minute rush for presents, by shopping under one roof for unique and special Christmas gifts.

Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with something to suit all tastes and pockets, with the wide variety of quality handmade Irish crafts for sale, from woodcarvings, pottery/ceramics, candles, and glassware to original paintings, old Kerry photographs, handmade Christmas cards and ornaments.  Those seeking distinctive creations will be thrilled with the range of day and costume jewellery on display as well as hats, bags, scarves, clothes and accessories.

As well as the uniqueness and beauty that makes hand-crafted designs such a thoughtful gift, shoppers can rest easy in the knowledge that they are actively supporting local artists, craftspeople and food producers in their endeavours and buying directly from the producer at a reduced price!

A selection of quality local food producers will be tempting passers-by with their unique delicious products and offering the chance to rediscover the joys of the fresh quality foods still being produced in Kerry with such care and dedication.  Shoppers won't be able to resist the smell of fresh waffles, the allure of speciality cheeses or the taste of traditional home baking.

With over a hundred stalls arraying their wares, prepare to be mesmerised by the sheer quality and craftsmanship of so many beautiful items made from natural materials and bearing the distinctive mark of the eye and hand of their creator, be it weaving, cheese, a piece of pottery or Skellig handmade chocolates!

With free entry and ample car parking in The Malton car park, why not solve your Christmas shopping headaches in one fell swoop on Sunday 29th December at the Christmas Craft and Food Fair from 12 pm to 6 pm.
