Christmas in Killarney Fashion & Entertainment Event

The Ultimate night of entertainment will take place on Thursday 18th November, when over 300 guests will be treated to the very best of Music, Entertainment, Fashion, Beauty & Style, not to mention sipping on mulled wine with chestnuts roasting on an open fire in the cosy mahogany surroundings of the Killarney Avenue Hotel.

In aid of a very worthy cause, the Christmas in Killarney Festival, this special night will commence at 7.30pm with a Mulled Wine Reception and will continue from here into a wonderland of Killarney's stylish fashion boutiques including; ENVY, MacBees, B Young, Bijou, High Street Fashion, Lilly & Rose, B Moda, Paco, and catering for ladies and gents, Blarney Woollen Mills, the Josef Store, Kerry Outdoor Sports, Nike and Farrell & Brown.

Performances on the night will be provided by the very worthy winners of the Xmas Factor 2008 Michelle O'Callaghan, and present title holder from 2009 Ciara O'Donovan. Killarney's local singer and actor Jack Healy will be there to keep everyone in the Christmas mood. Also young musician Mike Kelleher will introduce some of his newly composed pieces. And just to keep you entertained a little longer, there will be a wonderful Killarney 5 piece band to dance the night away to.

The Christmas in Killarney festival, now in its sixth year, creates a special atmosphere in town, delivering "Christmas as it should Be" with the Children's Christmas Parade, in association with Eddie Rockets Killarney and free Santa's grotto, in association with The Kingdom,  being just a couple of the free events offered to families. Clodagh Irwin Owens along with sister Emir O'Shea of ENVY Boutique is organizing the event on behalf of the Christmas in Killarney Committee. Clodagh stated "This year sees a change in the set up again to show more of what Killarney has to offer. As well as the unbeatable fashion offered in Killarney, we are also introducing our talented singers and musicians. The support of the Killarney community and stores has been excellent. We are all happy to participate knowing that it all goes back into making Killarney the place to experience the real Spirit of Christmas".
