Easter Bunny Visits The New Limerick Greyhound Stadium

Calling all Budding Artists from the ages of 5-12! The Easter Bunny will be going to the dogs on Saturday 23rd April from 7.30pm at the New Limerick Greyhound Stadium. Children and their families are invited down to the new state-of-the-art stadium to experience an evening of fun-filled Easter activities for all the family.

On the evening, the Easter Bunny will judge the Easter Art Extravaganza, a competitionChildren are invited to draw and colour in a picture called ‘The Easter Bunny Goes To The Dogs'.  All Primary School Children from the ages of 5-12 are invited to enter the competition and there are two age categories.

There are two fantastic prizes up for grabs, one for each age category. The prizes include;

  • Complimentary Admission & Racecard for Two Adults and 3 Children
  • A Family Meal from one of the Fast Food Outlets or Carvery
  • €15 Tote Bet
• The winning entrant will have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny

 

The Easter Bunny will be there on the night to distributing eggs to all the girls and boys. There will be the excitement of 12 Live Races for the adults and face-painters and balloon animals for the kids. It's a night for all the family in this new state-of-the art entertainment venue.

Speaking about the Easter event, Manager Imelda Cahlan said, "Since we opened the new Stadium in October, we have seen a great increase in the number of families using the facilities and it is so great to see the younger generation taking an interest in the Sport.  Mums and Dads are finding the stadium a cost effective way to spend time together as a family.  Where else could you have a family night out for just €20 for a family of four! Easter is such a special family time. We wanted to recognise this and bring some added excitement for the kids to the Schedule on Easter Saturday".

Doors will open at 6.30pm. Entrance is €10 per adult. Children age 12 and under go free.
