Business Women Can -Focus on Media Performance on International Women’s Day

13 March 2013

The event was organised in response to feedback that becoming a spokesperson for your product or service can sometimes be a difficult step for business development.

Jill Collins, Fuzion Communications said: “All too often, I find that media performance can be a stumbling block for some business women, unnecessarily preventing them from bringing their businesses to the next level.  An event like today, where we share professional advice as well as engaging in practical peer discussion, demystifies the unknown and is an invaluable development opportunity.  I am proud to be an Ambassador for Business Women Can, and to learn from as well as offer my experience to this network of impressive women.”

Ulster Bank’s David Thomas said:  “We are very proud of the important peer-to-peer support that Business Women Can facilitates every day through the contacts made, online resources, advice from programme Ambassadors and networking events like today.  We want to be the bank that demonstrates and proves that we understand what women in business need. We are delighted to have the support of RTE on today’s event, an organisation which has very strong female representation at every level.”
