On Friday 4th October, the 30th Annual Network Ireland National Conference will take place in Fota Island Resort Cork.  Network Ireland represents some of the leading business women in the country and over 200 women in business will attend the Conference and National Business Awards Ceremony  to celebrate the wealth of female entrepreneurship and professionalism as well as network, share contacts, ideas and experiences.The theme of the day is “Trailblazing Your Way to Success” and will feature a range of inspirational women across a broad spectrum of industry sectors – all leading figures in their fields. 

Organising the event is Network Ireland President and business woman Julia Lynes, who is a trailblazer in her own right, establishing her business EazyCity right after leaving college and at just 30 now has offices in Cork, Dublin and London, promoting her successful business across Europe.  Julia stated “It was important to me that we featured speakers across a wide range of sectors – all of whom are at the top of their professions.   I just know we are all going to get so much from the conference to bring back to our various businesses and working lives. As women in business we are very generous to other women in business and I know I would not be where I am today without the advice, guidance and encouragement from so many women including so many of my Network colleagues.”Sharing her trailblazing story will be international entrepreneur Lara Morgan.  Lara is founder of the Pacific Direct Group which she developed into a global leader in supplying product to the hospitality industry.  17 years after she founded the business Lara sold her share of the business for £20 million and founded a non-profit organisation called Company Shortcuts which provides free resources for entrepreneurs to develop and grow their businesses.  Lara is seriously passionate about Leadership, Self and Employee Motivation and Business Growth and will share her own learnings with the delegates at the conference.Another of the key note speakers will be Dr Rhona Mahony, first female Master of the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin oversees over 9,000 deliveries a year, a busy gynaecological unit and has responsibility for 700 staff.  Dr Mahony stated “I am thrilled to be participating in Network Ireland’s National Conference.  Looking at the calibre of speakers I think as well as sharing my own experiences, I’m going to pick up some learnings of my own along the way and am so looking forward to my visit to Cork.”Other profile speakers include Caroline Dowling, President of Integrated Network Solutions at Flextronics who leads an $11 billion business unit and COO of AIB Anne Boden who was named as one of the ten most influential figures in Global Finance.As well as the key note speakers the event will feature Career Case Studies from other business leaders and influencers, Formal and Information Networking Sessions and Panel Discussions.The event which is kindly sponsored by AIB, Enterprise Ireland, Network Cork, Cork City Council and Irish Tatler, commences at 10am and concludes at 5pm.  Following on from this at 7pm is the National Network Ireland Business Awards and Gala Dinner at Fota Island Resort, Cork.  For further information and for on-line booking visit www.networkireland.ie <http://www.networkireland.ie>
