Hayfield Manor Hotel Beats to a Different Drum with the Refurbishment of Conference Suites

12 August 2008

Hayfield Manor, Cork city's premier Five Star Hotel recently announced the relaunch of their Meetings & Events facilities.  Known for many years as the place for corporate clients to bring their top people, the team at this award winning hotel is determined to set the standard for five star corporate luxury in Cork City.  The hotel's manager, Anne-Marie Scally takes a personal interest in the development of Hayfield Manor as she is not only the daughter of the owners but also an experienced interior designer by trade.  Anne-Marie's latest project has been the design of the Meeting and Events facilities, where the focus has been on maintaining a classical look to match the elegance throughout the property while combining it with the latest technology.

All of Hayfield Manor's meeting rooms are purpose built and enjoy natural daylight with integrated breakout areas.  The challenge has been to maintain the original character of the hotel and fuse it with innovative technology to create an environment that is conducive to getting some real work done away from the usual distractions of the office.

Some high lights of the relaunch include:The Merriman Suite, has been designed specifically for interviews and high level presentations that require the utmost privacy.  With this in mind the room contains a large gilt mirror which is actually a well disguised plasma screen - the first of its kind in Cork.  The Executive Boardroom has fully integrated audio visual technology and its new private patio and luxurious furnishings making  it an excellent space for conducting mid-sized corporate events. The Kane Kirby Room at Hayfield Manor now caters for up to 110 people and features a wireless touch screen panel with which the meeting organiser can control the entire room.  Everything from controlling mood lighting to volume levels is now at the organiser's fingertips.

Most importantly, when business is done a retreat can be made to Hayfield Manor's various  dining facilities, including a newly launched private room for up to 30 people, The Vine Wine Cellar, where resident French sommelier Pierre Toussaint hosts lively whiskey and wine tasting for clients.

Hayfield Manor has recognised the trend that most corporate clients are now looking for interesting ice-breaker and team building activities and to that end have joined forces with an inspirational Cork based company, Lumos Consultancy who provide organisations with effective work/life balance programmes.  This will provide organisers with fresh inspiration with the aim of enhancing management team effectiveness. To celebrate this partnership and the launch of their new facilities, Hayfield Manor in conjunction with Lumos Consultancy are delighted to offer all meeting organisers who book a meeting by the end of 2008 a complimentary planning session with the lifestyle experts at Lumos Consultancy.

Hayfield Manor offers arguably the best Delegate Day packages in Cork and further afield with rates starting from €48.00. For More Information please log onto www.hayfieldmanor.com or call (021) 4845900
