Cork’s The River Lee Hotel nominated for three prestigious awards

One of Cork’s most renowned hotels – The River Lee Hotel is proud to announce its nomination for three prestigious Gold Awards that recognise its excellence in delivering a first class customer experience.

As part of the 26th Annual Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards, The River Lee Hotel was nominated as finalist in the ‘Casual Dining’, ‘Eco-Friendly Hotel of the Year’ and in the ‘City Hotel of the Year’ categories, the latter of which is open to the public to vote on.

The Gold Medal Awards are independent awards for the Irish hospitality industry judged by industry experts, recognising and rewarding excellence in hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, spas, clubs and catering operations across the island of Ireland.

According to Ruairi O’Connor, General Manager of The River Lee Hotel, being nominated for three of these nationwide awards is a great recognition and honour.

“We have withstood challenging times in the hospitality industry and have emerged with a hotel where providing the best customer experience is truly our goal and dictates every decision we make as a team.

The City Hotel of the Year award is open to the public to vote on, with online voting open until the 13th of August.
