Men preparing for Valentines at Just Cooking Cookery School

With Valentines just around the corner guys this year have been set a challenge by Friaries based Cookery School, Just Cooking.  The challenge is for the men to surprise their loved ones with a home cooked romantic meal for two, prepared lovingly by their very own hands!


For the ultimate in romance, imagine a room lit just by candles, a table set for two, relaxing music chosen specifically for the VIP diner, wines chilled or decanted, and a meal lovingly prepared by a “graduate” of the Just Cooking Men Only Valentines Cookery Class.


Mark Doe, who runs Just Cooking with his wife Berni is really looking forward to the first of a series of Men Only Courses commencing this Saturday.   “This Valentines themed Men Only Course is guaranteed to bestow major brownie points for guys!  It’s a simple, but delicious menu to prepare and all the guys will go home with a recipe pack, just in case they forget anything before the 14thFebruary –  the instructions for the perfect romantic meal will be right at their fingertips!!  The classes are great fun, entertaining, an enjoyable and relaxing way to pick up many hints and tips on cooking with style and ease.”


The course is very much hands on, with the guys getting to roll their sleeves up to assist Mark, not just watch the Master Chef in action.  Due to the popularity of the course, two additional dates have been added to the schedule and they will take place on the 31st January and 7th February. 


The course is just one in a series of Courses that can be found on the Just Cooking Website,  Other Spring Courses include Italian Cooking, Home Entertaining, Just Sauces and the School also has a range of Kids Classes during the school holidays.  Courses range from €35 to €100 per course per person can also be booked by calling Berni directly on (086) 609 5318.


Just Cooking also provides a range of other services as well as the Cookery School, including Private Dinner Party Service, where Just Cooking come to Client’s home, prepare a delicious meal in front of the dinner party guests and then serve the fare to the guests.  The couple also run a Hospitality Consultancy Service where they work with a variety of clients throughout Munster providing consultancy on all aspects of Food Operations within Hotels.
