Results Reveal Popularity of Kerry's On-line Wedding Directory at Home and Abroad

Kerry’s exclusive on-line wedding directory, www.weddingsinkerry.com has reported remarkable success as it marked the official one year anniversary of the launch of the site yesterday. Since its launch the website has generated over 60,500 hits by visitors seeking information on wedding venues and suppliers in the Kerry region. The most visited category of suppliers to date is photographers with over 3,000 hits reported. This is followed by bridal boutiques with over 2,000 hits and wedding bands coming in third at over 1,900 hits. Geographically, the majority of visitors to weddingsinkerry.com originated in Ireland, followed by the United Kingdom with the USA in third place. Other visitors to the website to date originated from Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Canada and even as far as Australia.  At the official one year anniversary of the website, outgoing Chairman of the Weddings in Kerry committee Pádraig McGillicuddy welcomed Thys Vogels, the incoming Chairman for 2010/2011.
