The Ardilaun Hotel, Galway Wins National Award for "Connacht Wedding Venue of the Year 2011"

Select's The Ardilaun Hotel, Galway is pleased to announce they have won overall winner in the West of Ireland as Connacht Wedding Venue of the Year 2011 at the 2nd Annual Weddings Online Awards Ceremony.

Among 50 other top venues around the country, The Ardilaun were delighted to win the overall Connacht award in front of the glitterati of the Wedding Industry which  descended in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin last Monday 14th February.

The Ardilaun were also just one of the five Select Hotels nominated for an award as the Kenmare Bay Hotel, Celtic Ross Hotel West Cork, County Arms Birr, City North Hotel Dublin and Silver Tassie Hotel Donegal were also present.

Thousands of brides and grooms nationwide voted for their favourite wedding suppliers who were then judged by an expert panel based on quality of work and experience. The Ardilaun's Sales and Marketing Manager, Maria Kelly and Wedding Co-ordinator, Orla Dolan received the award on behalf of the Hotel at the glittering awards ceremony. Maria stated: "It's great to be able to acknowledge and reward the hard work of wedding suppliers throughout the country," said Peter Bryans, CEO of WeddingsOnline, "and to highlight that commitment to quality; and dedication to excellent service, is continuing to thrive."
