The Sanctuary Beauty Academy offers full time and part time courses and is the only Beauty College in Kerry offering City & Guilds and CIDESCO qualifications which allow students achieve the highest in international qualifications. The event “A Beautiful Career” will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and those who are looking at career options in the run up to the Leaving Certificate, as well as people looking for a change of career or new opportunities, are invited to attend and discover more about the wide range of opportunities that exist for Health and Beauty graduates.

 Sanctuary Beauty Academy Director and Head Lecturer Mary O’Donoghue stated “The event is open to everyone interested in learning more about the opportunities for a satisfying and challenging career in the health and beauty industry.   A career in our industry is full of potential as thankfully it is an industry which doesn’t seem to be slowing down, with 80% of the Sanctuary Beauty Academy graduates who qualified in 2011 now in full employment – something that the majority of other sectors cannot say.”

Three of Ireland’s top industry professionals will be at the event sharing insights on their specific areas of expertise and demonstrating first-hand the potential for graduates within the industry.  Model agency owner, Andrea Roche will talk about what she looks for when booking a beauty professional and how to stand out in the profession. While, Professional Make Up Artist, Zoe Clark, will share her career journey to date and give a make-up demo packed with professional tips and tricks of the trade. Director of Coogan Bergin Beauty Clinic, Sheila Curran, will explain the importance of recognised qualifications and will also be talking about the latest breakthroughs in beauty technology and the science of beauty.Each of the guest speakers will showcase the various career options in the beauty industry, qualifications necessary to achieve success, career progression, job satisfaction and variety within the industry, as well as sharing real life case studies from their personal experiences.
