The Malton is the ideal family getaway this Christmas, and The Malton's General Manager, Conor Hennigan personally invites you to join him and his family in celebrating the festive season. Conor, along with his family have "moved into" the hotel every Christmas for the past 12 years, and say they "can't imagine a better place to spend this special time of year."
On Christmas Eve guests will be treated to a welcoming drinks reception and sumptuous dinner followed by Christmas Carols. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served just before Midnight Mass. Then it's time to head to bed for dreams of Santa and Sugar Plum Fairies.
Wake up on Christmas morning to a leisurely brunch in the Garden Room Restaurant; while the hotels younger guests are sure to be delighted by a very special visit from the "Big Man Himself", Santa Claus! Afternoon Tea, always a grand tradition at The Malton will be served in the hotel's wonderful lobby from 3pm; after which guests can relax and curl up by the roaring fire, enjoy a game of cards, or take a plunge in the pool. The "piece de resistance" on Christmas Day, is of course, Christmas Dinner, which kicks off with a drinks reception and will be followed by entertainment.
St. Stephen's Day is yours to enjoy at your ease, with brunch served up until 12.30pm. For those in need of some crisp, fresh air, The Malton has organised a tour of the local area; while others may prefer a dip in the pool to refresh the senses. Children can enjoy the hotel's fully supervised playroom throughout the day. Once again, a wonderful afternoon tea will be served in the late afternoon; while dinner that evening will be a lavish "Farewell Dinner Dance".
It's time to bid farewell to The Malton on Thursday 27th December, but not before a delicious, warming breakfast to set you on your way.
