Cork company TeamworkPM experiences great success in 2013 and looks set to take 2014 by storm

18 December 2013

TeamworkPM, an Irish software development company based in North Point Business Park, Cork, is expanding at an extraordinary rate as it announces an increase in turnover of 73% to €2.3m in 2013, with customers in over 147 countries worldwide operating the system in 47 different languages.

TeamworkPM is an online project management software application that helps teams work together more productively and is the brainchild of Dan Mackey and Peter Coppinger. The cloud based application is currently servicing up to 100,000 tasks daily and is quickly becoming the project management software application of choice both nationally and internationally, with clients such as Pfizer, Ebay, Universal Studios, PayPal, Pepsi and Sony. Peter Coppinger is delighted with their success to date and anticipates a busy 2014.

“TeamworkPM is growing at rapid pace and I know 2014 is going to be our busiest year to date. We have invested heavily into the business as we have big plans for the next 12 months. I think the secret to our success is that we simply listen carefully to our customers all of the time. We deliberately make it easy for customers to contact us and we ensure we respond to them immediately. We soak up the feedback and we use this to introduce new features and constantly improve the application.”

2013 also saw TeamworkPM expand geographically, opening a new office in New Zealand. This risky decision proved to be a step in the right direction as it has had a great impact on clients on the west coast of America and Australia due to their ability to provide a rapid customer response. This, in turn has lead to a significant increase in business in that side of the world, which to date had proved difficult to achieve being based in Europe alone.

TeamworkPM Product Evangelist, Sam Kidd, who runs the New Zealand office is delighted with the move and its success so far “Making the decision to move to New Zealand and open up a new office was a tough one, but we have been really happy with the benefits it has already provided our customers with. While the main development still happens back in Ireland, over time we hope to grow our staff numbers here to assist support and development of the software.

”The software development company shows no signs of slowing down in 2014 as they have heavily invested their own funds into the business and doubled their hi- tech employment positions as they prepare to enter the New Year.
