Last night (29th of July) The Vero Moda and Jack & Jones store on Patrick Street re-opened to the public following a 2-month refurbishment. To celebrate the occasion a fashion show with exclusive previews of the Autumn/Winter collection was unveiled. Vera Moda showcased a variety of looks using contrasting textures like lace and leather to more girly day wear outfits including this season's must have fitted combats. The men in the audience were not disappointed with looks from Jack and Jones who are known for their much sought after jeans brand.

The Cork Convention Bureau (CCB) today hosted a lunch in the Penthouse of the Imperial Hotel, Cork, to thank a number of Cork Conference Ambassadors. These are the people who have been directly responsible for securing over 2.1 million in Business Tourism for the Cork region. All of these Ambassadors are people on the ground in Cork, or with a Cork connection, that have used their influence within organisations to bring international conferences to Cork.

Saturday 18th July is the final night of greyhound racing at the Market Field's Greyhound Stadium in Limerick. The occasion will be marked with a very special evening of nostalgia and Inter County greyhound racing, as Limerick and racing followers from all over Ireland bid farewell to this historic stadium.
