Gourmet Food Parlour Owners, Lorraine Heskin and Lorraine Byrne have just opened the doors of their latest addition to their Gourmet Food Parlour family last week. The new restaurant, situated delightfully near Dun Laoghaire harbour, seats up to 80 people and boasts a brand new menu full of well-balanced and healthy breakfasts, brunches, lunches and delicious tapas.

The stunning decor, which was designed by Lorraine and Lorraine, draws influences from their travels - the space feels like a funky New York loft with high ceilings, exposed brick work and quirky conversation starters wherever you look. The bar that runs along the wall as you enter is stocked to the ceiling with every type of wine imaginable - and the high-back velvet covered stools are the perfect perching point to enjoy tapas and look out over the Dun Laoghaire harbour vista.

The opening evening saw a vibrant crowd enjoy an abundance of tasty carnival style mini dishes and celebratory drinks in the stylishly decorated new space. Gourmet Food Parlour founder, Lorraine said, “When we opened our first restaurant on Cumberland St in Dun Laoghaire nine years ago, we wanted to offer something different, homemade but with a twist! We have managed to do this with all our locations and it is exciting that we now get to do it all over again in our new premises in Dun Laoghaire. We are so delighted with all the local support and are looking forward to a very happy future on Crofton Road.

Gourmet Food Parlour’s new restaurant is the fourth restaurant to open with locations at Swords, Malahide and Dun Laoghaire as well as a corporate catering division. Gourmet Food Parlour are also the resident caterers for 37 Dawson Street and House, Leeson Street.
