Celebrating the great tradition of artisan crafts and products in Kerry, KOC Craft Fairs are delighted to announce the return of the ever popular October Bank Holiday Weekend Arts and Crafts Fair from Saturday, 25th to Monday, 27th October from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily upstairs in the Killarney Outlet Centre. This year's Craft Fair promises to be bigger and better than ever, combining over 40 arts and crafts stalls, and fine local food stalls. With so much on offer, there will be something to suit all tastes and pockets, from dedicated shoppers to those looking for a unique gift for that someone special!
The Craft Fair will add to the bank holiday atmosphere at the Killarney Outlet Centre, which always offers a different shopping experience from the traditional shopping centre. Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with the wide variety of quality handmade Irish crafts for sale upstairs in the Killarney Outlet Centre, from woodcarvings, pottery/ceramics, candles and glassware to original paintings, old Kerry photographs, handmade cards and ornaments. A selection of fair trade handicrafts from India, Morocco and South America will also be available.
Style-conscious ladies seeking distinctive individual look will be thrilled with the wide range of day and costume jewellery on offer as well as hats, bags, scarves, clothes and accessories. As well as the unique pleasure and satisfaction that only hand-crafted designs can bring, visitors can rest easy in the knowledge that they are actively supporting local artists and craftspeople in their endeavours and buying directly from the producer at reduced prices.
A selection of quality local food producers will also be tempting passers-by with their unique delicious products, and offering the chance to rediscover the joys of fresh quality foods still being produced in Kerry with such care and dedication. Just try to resist the smell of fresh waffles, the allure of speciality cheeses or the taste of traditional home baking.
With over 40 stalls arraying their wares, prepare to be mesmerised by the sheer quality and craftsmanship of so many beautiful things made from natural materials and bearing the distinctive mark of the eye and hand of their creator, be it weaving or a piece of pottery!
