International creative workspace provider Spaces has announced its first Irish centre at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, in Dublin’s Docklands.

Spaces takes over 77SJRQ, a six-storey office building of 3,195 square metres, situated at the eastern end of the South Dublin Docklands. This is an area undergoing a transformation with JP Morgan, Accenture and AirBnB already settled in the area.

A workspace created for corporate shakers, business nomads, freelancers and energetic entrepreneurs, Spaces provides a community for its members. The company has almost 100 workspaces around the world and is now entering the vibrant Irish market for the first time.

Based on the idea that success breeds success, co-founders Martijn Roordink and Frederique Keuning created Spaces to provide a sociable and inspirational working environment, that brings creative minds together in one place. They emphasise personalised, comfortable spaces and an active community that encourages collaboration between its members, which range from sole practitioners and startups to established businesses and large corporates.

“Spaces is a creative working environment with a unique entrepreneurial spirit,” said Martijn Roordink. “We offer dynamic working areas to help you think, create and collaborate. Whether you are working on your own or with a team, we have spaces for you. Spaces in which to concentrate, to collaborate, to make big decisions or simply bounce ideas around. At Spaces we host a talented and forward thinking community with high energy and an appetite for success.”

Set to open in May, Spaces South Docklands is ideally situated to take advantage of Dublin City Centre’s excellent public transport network, making it the ideal location for businesses looking for flexible workspaces for their employees. Underground parking is also available to Spaces clients.

According to European Commission estimates, Ireland is the fastest growing country in the EU, growing three times faster than the wider euro area. It’s the confidence created thanks to this growth, that is one of the many reasons why Spaces chose Dublin as its next location.

“Ireland’s always been a small country with big ideas” said Country Manager Gearoid Collins. From Spaces parent company IWG. “And with the business outlook hitting an all-time high, we’re looking forward to hosting a community here at Spaces South Docklands where ideas can flourish inspire and thrive.”
