Energetic Cork based Indie rock/pop band j90 have been performing and writing music together for 3 years. Last December they launched their first single and video "Freak" available through download. It went straight to No 1 and stayed there for 5 weeks, with a record number of downloads reported during this time.
Now, as a prelude to the launch of their 2nd single "Everything's gonna be alright!" they have joined forces with one of Europe's leading online travel & lifestyle providers lastminute.com to create new avenues of communications.
In the coming weeks lastminute.com and j90 will be working together on a number of web based initiatives including a content partnership deal which will allow lastminute.com users to access information on the band, their upcoming tour, and pre-release access to their imminent new single "Everything's gonna be alright!"
Currently j90 are touring the country performing to audiences of thousands every week. Fans not lucky (or old) enough to see the guys live can check out their performances and video "Freak" on their website www.j-90.net.
J90 are part of the growing number of artists such as Arctic Monkeys and Lily Allen who exploit the internet to get their music out to the online world through downloads, podcasts, video and audio feeds, fans forums and ezines.

The new single will also feature in lastminute.com's national and regional radio campaign over the next few weeks.
I’m not sure who the first person was to coin that phrase about Simon Harris our new Taoiseach but it certainly is “stuck” onto him now. When the phrase is used do you think it is me...
