New Solutions – Social Innovation Fund
Through Pobal, this was a branding and identity project for a new Government of Ireland and EU co-funded programme titled, ‘New Solutions Social Innovation Fund – Creating better outcomes’. The programme will provide essential funding to assist in developing and growing the social innovation ecosystem in Ireland. The brief was to create an identity that reflected new and fresh thinking to solve social inclusion issues.
Our idea behind the logo was to reflect four main driving principles that underpin the objective of the initiative. This lead to the development of the logo that reflects People, Prosperity, Solutions and Innovation. This is achieved using different shapes and colours to reflect each principle, coming together to create an overarching brand identity. These shapes are then used in various ways as graphic identifiers to form the overall identity.
We created the new logo representing the four main driving principles and developed a comprehensive brand identity to work across all platforms. We developed a Brand Style Guide and a Visual Identity Toolkit containing all versions of the brand assets to ensure consistency and in-house use for the client. Since it’s launch, Pobal has been able to successfully produce on-brand digital and print visuals to grow and strengthen the awareness of the funding initiative. We produced designs for social media posts, internal stationery, presentations, signage, report templates and website graphics.
