A good year for Wine Lovers with Cork’s Ultimate Wine Experience, the 10th Cork Wine Fair taking place 18th November at the Clarion Hotel Cork Wine Merchants, O’Donovans,have announced details of the 10th Cork Wine Fair which takes place on Thursday 18th November 2010 from 4-9pm in the Pegasus Suite of the Clarion Hotel, Lapp’s Quay, Cork. Tickets are €10 and are available from any of the 16 O’Donovans branches in Cork City and County. All proceeds are in aid of Cork Simon Community. 

Gary O’Donovan, owner of O’Donovans Wine Merchants says; “This is an event which has been the highlight in the calendar of wine lovers over the past ten years. Visitors will have the chance to talk to those exhibiting as well as sample a selection of wines from all over the World. This is a good year for wine lovers in that there is fantastic value; the quality ratio has never been better compared to when we started ten years ago. We’ve also noticed that people are incredibly informed and have a genuine thirst for knowledge. They can satisfy this thirst at this event as well as doing something positive for the Simon Community in Cork at a crucial time for their own fundraising”

The event which has become Cork’s Ultimate Wine Experience has attracted hundreds of wine lovers over the past ten years. It will be attended by leading worldwide experts in the industry, including the advanced team from O’Donovans, experts who will display and showcase some of their individual niche “finds”.  Two Master Classes conducted by wine authorities of the highest calibre – Jean Smullen and John McDonnell will also be given. Visitors will enjoy and taste a fine wine selection ably backed up by premium beers & spirits,cheeses and gourmet foods.  Tickets are available at any of the sixteen O’ Donovans branches in Cork City and Countyy.
