At Your Service - Launch of Munster Catering expo 2014

The Munster catering industry will come together in force this month for the Munster Catering Expo – a pivotal trade show for the hospitality sector that will be held in Cork on the 25th and 26th of March.

The industry-led, free-of-charge exhibition that will take place in Rochestown Park Hotel, is a collaborative initiative of the Munster Foodservices Group made up of suppliers and producers in the food and hospitality sector locally.

According to Hugh Kavanagh, spokesperson of the Munster Foodservices Group, the exhibition is a not-to-be-missed event for those working in the food and hospitality sector.

“We guarantee the innovative and cutting edge products and services that will be showcased over the two days will inspire, shape and streamline your business strategy to improve customer retention, efficiency and ultimately increase your bottom line.”

Over the two-day event the latest trends, tastes and services in the industry will be showcased to promote all the Munster region has to offer.

Among the diverse range of exhibitors confirmed for the expo are; Catering Suppliers, Blenders, Kepak Group, Lamb Weston, Cork Hygiene, M&P O’Sullivan, C&L Epos Systems, Brennan & Co CaterSave, All Fresh Wholesale, Ballyburden Meats, Drummond Furniture, Mahers Coffee, Mary Daly Associates and Kavanagh Equipment.

The exhibition which takes place every second year, has grown from a small local initiative to a key provincial trade show connecting suppliers from all over Munster and beyond.

As well as high-standard and indigenous hospitality sector exhibitors, the event will also feature exciting new product launches of time-saving products, onsite special offers, as well as a number of demonstrations such as barista, cocktail and food tasting to give visitors a flavour of all Munster catering has to offer.

Munster Catering Exhibition is open to trade only from 1pm to 8.30pm on 25th March and on 26th of March from 10am to 5pm.
