Clipex Celebrates the European Launch of its Innovative Stockyard Solutions at National Ploughing Championships 2017

Clipex Fencing and Stockyards will mark its first visit to the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan Tullamore with the European launch of its innovative stock handling solutions. Visitors to block 1, row 7, stand 174 can also road test the patented Clipex Sheep Handler, and the HD Cattle Work Area System which can be operated single-handedly, all at the push of a button.

Since it was founded by the Olsson Family in 2007 the Clipex product line, from fencing to stockyards, has become a market leader in the competitive Australian agri-sector. Ten years on, the Olsson family remain ingrained in the Clipex process from design to installation, and they’re delighted to bring their innovations to Ireland.

“We’re really excited to take part in our very first National Ploughing Championship, which we understand has become a cultural phenomenon in Ireland,” said Ashley Olsson, Founder of Clipex, who’s flying from Australia to attend the event. “We’re looking forward to showing visitors how Clipex’s innovative solutions can halve labour and machinery costs, and ultimately make life on the farm easier and safer.”

Demonstrations of the Clipex Fencing System will also take place across the three days of the National Ploughing Championship. Clipex’s pioneering system replaces timber posts with a solution that allows farmers to erect fences 10 times faster than traditional stakes with a hot dipped galvanised steel fence line that’s guaranteed for 30 years.

Earlier this year, Clipex, the family owned and operated Australian company, established their European Headquarters in Ennis Co. Clare, creating six new jobs. The company’s innovative fencing solutions are quickly becoming a firm favourite among Irish farmers.

“We’re delighted with the reception Clipex Fencing is already receiving among Ireland’s farming community” said Kevin Lernihan, Clipex Ireland Sales Representative, who has been working with Irish farmers on their farming needs for over 20 years. “Their products adapt excellently from stony ground in the west of Ireland, to the flatter terrain in the midlands. What’s more is traditional timber has a lifespan of about a 15 years. Clipex offers steel posts system that will last in excess of 30 years.”

For live demonstrations and to meet the Irish and Australian teams who are looking forward to sharing their wealth of knowledge and hands on advice, visit Clipex at Block 1, Row 7, Stand 174 at the National Ploughing Championships from the 19th to the 21st of September. Or visit
