Comfort Keepers Announces Major Expansion and Job Creation in Cork

The expansion includes the opening of a new office dedicated to the North Cork region within the next two months. Property negotiations are currently being finalised but it is expected that the office will be located in the Mitchelstown/Mallow area.

In the past year, Comfort Keepers has doubled its size in Cork and currently employs over 100 people, with fifty more carers to be recruited over the coming months. To cater for its growing team, the company has just relocated to a larger premises in the Melbourne Business Park on the Model Farm Road.

The reason behind the organisation’s extensive Cork expansion is as a result of the increased demand for its services, following the recent announcement that Comfort Keepers is now the No. 1 ranked home care provider for enhanced home care packages by the HSE.

Commenting on the expansion, Sue Cogan, Sales & Marketing Manager for Comfort Keepers said “This is great news for the Comfort Keepers team and our clients in the Cork region. The move to the bigger premises in the Melbourne Business Park will help us to expand our service offering and give the team some more badly needed office space! Our neighbours Signarama in the business park have been a huge help in getting our branding organised and we’re delighted with the new premises which is giving us an additional 1000 square feet of space”.

Sue continues “Similarly, the opening of the new office in North Cork region and the recruitment of fifty new carers over the coming months will allow us to offer a greater number of home care packages giving older people in Cork and surrounding areas the option to live independently in their homes with a little help from our dedicated team of carers”.

Comfort Keepers is a leading provider of top quality home care in Ireland.  A family owned and Irish run organisation, Comfort Keepers employs qualified carers all of whom are fully trained, background checked and managed by Comfort Keepers.
