ProStrategy are delighted to welcome Chief Economist Jim Power as the keynote speaker at their breakfast briefing taking place on Thursday 28th May in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Blanchardstown, Dublin.

At the ‘Key to business success’ event, which will engage businesses across all industries, Jim Power will demonstrate best practices in key performance indicator (KPI) strategies and will discuss the importance of instant measurement for the economists and business leaders.

Speaking about the event Jim said “I am delighted to be asked to be the keynote speaker at this event. Speaking from a practical point of view I will endeavour to explain the importance of a business or even a country identifying their key performance indicators and then having the tools in place to be able to quickly assess if these are on track. For any successful business it is vital to be able to analyse real time performance against these KPI’s and to quickly take corrective action if necessary”.

John Coleman, Managing Director of ProStrategy, will also be speaking on the day and is looking forward to welcoming Jim Power as their special guest, “This event is one of our main events of the year as we see that business metrics are the foundation of any performance management strategy. We see so many businesses transformed when they implement the tools to extract vital information from their core data systems. Across FMCG and companies in other sectors, business analytics empower people to analyse and report on their KPIs enabling them to make better decisions and drive real business success. We are delighted to have Jim Power as our keynote speaker on the day as he will no doubt bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table and will deliver valuable insights to all who attend”

ProStrategy will also be joined by IBM and Industry speakers on the day where they will share their experiences of turning data insights into action using IBM Cognos Business Analytics.

Other speakers include Colm Kenneally - Business Analytics Solution Specialist IBM UK, Sean Hanley - Business Analytics Consultant ProStrategy and Mark Reilly- Group MIS Manager, C&D Foods. Mark will share his experience and describes what he and his business have achieved since introducing IBM Cognos “IBM Cognos allowed C&D Foods to move from a cumbersome excel based KPI system in each of our seven locations to one automated integrated solution. This provides enhanced value-add reporting and analysis providing speedy insights across the business. In addition to improved management reporting, we now have automatic report distribution to the management teams, which can even be accessed easily on their mobile devices”.
