Munster’s highly rated Broadband provider, Nova Broadband has had to relocate to bigger premises due to the phenomenal success it has had over the last 12 months. The Cork based company has seen a huge increase in its customer base, in particular in rural based areas, and as a result has increased staff by 25% and moved to a much larger premises in Carrigtwohill.

The significant growth comes on the back of their huge expansion across a large proportion of the country last year. Due to popular demand, the Cork based company invested heavily, over €250,000, into broadening its customer base beyond Munster and into areas such as Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Laois and Waterford in the first phase of its expansion throughout Ireland.

The expansion means rural broadband customers, who have suffered for years with slow fixed line, 3G and satellite broadband, unable to conduct business or enjoy online entertainment, have now finally got relief and investment into their broadband service which to date has been ignored and extremely poor in many areas.

Speaking about their growth, CEO of Nova Broadband, Dave Mc Donald said “Our reputation as the number one rated broadband provider and experts when it comes to rural broadband in particular is spreading and as a result our customer levels are soaring through the roof. Since expanding up the country we have received a huge response and got many new customers who before now had little to no access to good broadband, which in this day and age I feel is completely unacceptable. We are delighted to be able to help these people and bring our number one rated service nationwide.”

Nova Broadband are looking to begin phase two of their national expansion plan in 2017 and as a result hope to create up to 20 new jobs in the next 24 months as they continue to expand into other counties.
