While the company has a strong and loyal client base comprising of blue chip companies such as Molson Coors Ireland and Securitas along with SMEs such as, DNG, Tempar, Brook Food Services and Tritech, almost 30% of its business in the last 12 months came from new clients.
Among significant contracts secured by the Fleet division this year were two new contracts worth €1.2 million, with BAM Civil Ltd and Dragados Ireland Ltd, to provide 70 lease vehicles over the next three years for pivotal road building projects.
According to Jonathan O’Brien, MD of Johnson & Perrott Fleet: “It’s a real sign of confidence among businesses and the Irish economy in general that the demand for company and commercial vehicles has increased so greatly. While, we remain ever-cautious, particularly in the context of the fall-out from Brexit and the affect this will have on the leasing industry, we are forecasting continued growth in 2017 with almost 25% of our sales for the coming year already in the pipeline.”
