Maxi Zoo, Ireland's largest pet retailer, has opened a new store in Tallaght, Belgard Retail Park which was celebrated with a weekend of family fun and discounts over the weekend of 22nd-24th April.

Customers were treated to a 'Spend and Save' promotion that included in-store promotions as well as discounts on grooming services and a live broadcast with FM104, with their roadsters on hand delivering loads of goodie bags.

Maxi Zoo announced the purchase of Equipets' eight stores and online shop late last year and has successfully rebranded two locations so far including Tallaght’s former Equipet Store, with six more launches planned for this year.

According to Enrico De Luca, Country Manager of Maxi Zoo Ireland:

"We're excited to announce the official opening of our second rebranded store of the year and we look forward to welcoming and providing our expertise and enhanced service to Equipet's former customers."

Maxi Zoo Ireland now has a combined retail network of 29 stores nationwide, 285 employees and an online store. Maxi Zoo is a leading pet specialist offering exclusive brands, personal consultations for pet owners, and the most extensive product range with over 8,000 items available.
