The Perfect Seasonal Balance from INKA Shoes Exclusive Labels in Classic Designs

21 April 2009

Exclusive labels in classic designs dominate the Spring/ Summer 09 collection from INKA Shoes, Cork's fabulously different shoe boutique on French Church Street in Cork.  In store, stylish girls who crave individuality will find a treasure trove of cutting edge designs and colours, shoes and accessories sourced from all over the world, some exclusive in Ireland.

The SS09 Collection from Chie Mihara at INKA is full of rich colours which are calm, tranquil, mature and feminine, and include taupe, nude, browns, grey, lavender, forest green, and mocha. Out are pointy toes, and in are round toed, platforms and wooden soles, with strong and cone shaped heels. The mix of materials and colours give the collection an 80's feel.

This season, as always, Camper has created wearable shoes with a unique creative image; created for comfort, design and imagination. INKA Shoes has the largest selection of Camper stock in Munster, and is the exclusive stockist of the brand in Cork City.

Other brands stocked in INKA Shoes include: Japonica is a Japanese brand, which the fashion stylists are raving about and in Ireland is exclusive to INKA Shoes. The quirky designs feature genuine silk kimono material and a must for the girl who dares to be different; Calvin Klein and Hard Hearted Harlot.

Spanish brand, Ras is stocked exclusively in Cork in INKA Shoes, and for SS09, the unique Ras Collection plays with extremes to find the perfect seasonal balance. The strong colours, bright and happy - sunshine yellow, meadow green, cobalt, electric blue, tropical orange, poppy red are mixed with the neutral severity of optical white and deep black; while the more acid, almost techno range is softened with the combination of natural tones - biscuit, leather, rope, khaki, oat. Soft, silky feeling materials like nappa, nubuck and chamois are combined with metallic shine with an "industrial" feel, while those with a more "chemical" look that imitate plastic come alive with the naturalness of the cowhide. Rope, raffia and espadrilles are omnipresent.  It is eco-chic in the most basic and natural version; it lights up with saturated colours or becomes multicoloured; and the wedge heels have a designer feel to them.

Catherine Parra and Gabs bags are also available in INKA Shoes, and anyone carrying one of these designer bags is guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.

INKA Shoes is open Monday to Saturday from 10 - 6pm at 14b French Church Street, Cork. Phone (021) 4254929.
