Another All-Ireland for Kerry? Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty - Wella Trend Vision Finalist

Another prestigious title may be winging its way to Kerry next week as Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty await the results of the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award.

In early September, Sean's work on his model dazzled the Wella Professionals Studio, Dublin, where, with his keen eye for on-trend colour, he battled it out against some of Ireland's finest hair colourists in the preliminary judging round of the prestigious Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award. Head Beauty Therapist at Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty, Aine O'Doherty, complemented Sean's creative look with dramatic makeup on the model for the judging.

One of fourteen finalists chosen for the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award Colour Category, Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty will be the only Kerry finalist at the Trend Vision Award Irish Final which takes place this year at the RDS Concert Hall in Dublin on Monday the 5th of October, where the winner will be announced.

The Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award is in its sixth year and is one of the most coveted and acclaimed hairdressing awards, not only in Ireland but also on the international stage - the All-Ireland of the hairdressing world!

A highly experienced judging panel included Chloe Thompson, Senior Colour Director, Vidal Sassoon; and Stewart Bayne of D&J Ambrose; Maeve O'Healy, Harte of Irish Hairdresser International; Jacqueline Strawbridge, Creative Head Ireland; and John Geaney, Trend Vision 2008 Colour Category Gold Winner. The panel were all selected for their expertise in the industry and were asked to judge entrants on inspiration, motivation and trend awareness.

If Sean is chosen as the winner, he will represent Ireland, in the Colour Category, at the International Trend Vision Award at the end of the year. 52 countries will be represented making this one of the most high profile and celebrated hair awards in the world.
