Irish entrepreneur and owner of Irish franchise group Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy, Donna Daly Blyth, will be heading to London to direct and choreograph little ballerinas from her UK dance academies, who are taking part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee! The Angelina Ballerina dancers will give a spectacular performance at what is set to be the calendar event of the year!

Based on the much loved stories, music and games of Hit Entertainment's popular children's cartoon Angelina Ballerina, Cork based Donna Daly Blyth developed the Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy concept, allowing children to learn to dance, in the image of their favourite cartoon character. Starting out in Cork, Donna now heads up franchises of Angelina Ballerina dance schools all over Ireland and the UK.

Eagerly awaiting their participation in The Queen's Jubilee, Donna is looking forward to the ‘royal' welcome they will receive, with over 100,000 children and adults expected to turn out at Hyde Park this June Bank holiday weekend.

Donna said, "We are delighted to be invited by the organisers of this major event to appear on the Hyde Park stage. It is very exciting for our ballerinas, and there is a real buzz around our appearance inall our academies in the U.K and Ireland. The interactive show will feature some of our favourite action songs from class, as well as a brand new number from the Angelina Ballerina musical! It will also feature audience participation, and we have lots of surprises in store on the day."

Donna went on to say "Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy will also be performing on the 18th and 19thof June at ‘West End Show Live' in Trafalgar Square, the home of theatre, whichis a huge honour. We are also preparing for the Angelina Ballerina Musical tour around Ireland, so keep your eyes peeled for Angelinaand her little ballerinas."

Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy isa unique, creative and exciting teaching programme for children aged from 3 to6 years old, which provides a new approach to a child's first encounter with ballet.

Apart from keeping kids active, Angelina Ballerina dance programmes can be used as an educational tool for parents, as theyare designed to focus on the child as a whole, helping them to develop life skills including caring and sharing with others and, like Angelina's catchy slogan ‘absolutely positively', it teaches children a ‘can do' attitude.

Although most children grow up all too fast, Angelina BallerinaDance Academy instils an ideology of children being children. The programme has an all-inclusive ethos, promoting the qualities of sharing and looking after each other, as well as the importance of being a good team player, making it the perfect setting for even shyer children to join in the fun, in a professional environment.
