HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS! New store, Home Depot opens at the Killarney Outlet Centre

The Killarney Outlet Centre is delighted to announce the introduction of Home Depot to the Centre, which opened over the October Bank Holiday Weekend. 

Home Depot is part of the Army Surplus Warehouse's new 2,000 sq ft extension, and will feature lots of very affordable house and home products including kitchen utensils, bathroom and dining room accessories and decorative pieces; from well known brands such as Apollo, Laura Ashley, Movee and many others. 

The new store, situated upstairs in the Killarney Outlet Centre, is good news for all retailers in the Centre, who are set to benefit from the increase in footfall that the new store will generate, especially within the home décor and improvements market.  Killarney Outlet Centre Manager, Paul Sherry is delighted with the news and said "This is an example of how diverse the Killarney Outlet Centre is becoming and we're delighted that our stores are thinking of new ways to stand out. Going that extra mile to keep their customers satisfied." 

Proprietor of the Army Surplus Warehouse, Noel Curtin, is looking forward to the reception the extension is sure to receive. Noel said "Our Home Depot offering is vastly different from existing stock which was geared towards DIY and professional tool enthusiasts. Now we will be introducing soft furnishing, kitchen utensils, bathroom and dining room accessories, all at amazing price points, making it attractive for anyone wishing to purchase anything for the home, without compromising on quality or draining pockets. It made good business sense to expand our offering with the new stock range appealing more to the home maker and not just the DIY expert." 

Noel went on to say, "We have recently celebrated our third anniversary in the Centre and during this time have witnessed a healthy footfall through the store, particularly at the weekends.
