Saville Menswear – A Cork Tradition Celebrating 35 Years in Business

One of Cork's best known and established fashion retailers, Saville Menswear, is delighted to celebrate 35 years in business this December. Founded in 1977 by husband and wife team, Jim and Pam O'Regan, Saville has established itself over the years in Munster and beyond as a destination menswear store.

Saville was born through the vision of its founder, Jim O'Regan "to bring the best of European fashion to Cork under one roof in a luxurious environment". Throughout the years of recession to boom and recession again, Jim has stuck with this vision, never compromising on service and quality.

Saville Menswear, which remains owner managed to this day, is a specialist store operating with a close understanding of its many diverse new and old customers. The 9,000 Sq.Ft store, located in the heart of Cork city in Oliver Plunkett Street, is the home of some of world's finest menswear brands throughout its three floors. Jim's unique expertise is his ability to source the best brands for an evolving market, which is serviced by a highly professional team providing the highest levels of customer service.   

The large range of premium brands extends across semi casual, smart casual, corporate and formal wear including Boss, Dressler, Baumler, Gant, Ralph Lauren, Hilfiger, Penguin, Superdry and many more. Jim takes huge pride in the Saville success story "Of course, we can't forget our loyal customer base - the gentlemen and women who have been calling to us season after season for the last 35 years; but also our newer customers, many of whom are sons of shoppers we served back in 1977!"

This is an exciting time for Saville, and they continue to grow, evolve and thrive, with plans for the introduction of a brand new tailoring service, a new privilege card and many new international brands. Jim concluded "While our heritage and reliability is what people have grown to love and trust; we are well aware of how it is important to move with the times and keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends to stay ahead of the pack, and we are looking forward to some exciting new introductions to our repertoire over the coming months."

Saville will celebrate 35 years in business with a special customer evening on Thursday 13th December. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to learn about the new introductions to this Cork tradition, as well as receiving special discounts just in time for the Christmas season.
