Derek Rusk, Centre Manager at Manor West Retail Park is delighted to be bringing the Careers Information Day to the Centre and says “All of the experts who will be in attendance on the day are full of useful  advice and  tips on their industry, and this will be a great opportunity to network  and have a one-to-one chat. This event is not just for students and graduates; anyone who is looking for employment, considering a change in career or just wants to find out the type of jobs that are available in the region should come along.”

Kieran Ruttledge, CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance is looking forward to the event and is pleased that the Tralee Chamber Alliance and its members will be participating - “Many jobseekers have never been unemployed before and therefore are not fully aware of the opportunities that are available to them, which is why events such as this Careers information Day are important.” Kieran went on to say “We are delighted that so many of our members wanted to get involved - this is a great community event.”

Brid McElligott, Head of Development at Tralee IT, is excited about the upcoming event and hopes that the visitors will get to see all the great career opportunities in the area. She says "Tralee IT has been working with the Tralee Chamber Alliance to highlight the fantastic opportunities that exist in our town. Through this event we will give the people of Tralee an opportunity to see the breadth of educational and career options available on their doorstep.”

She added “The Institute is currently putting together a suite of programmes that will be funded through the government's Springboard initiative and which will be available to assist those currently seeking employment to up skill or re-skill. These programmes are in addition to the extensive range of under-graduate courses offered through the CAO and the suite of post-graduate programmes which will commence this September. I would encourage anyone visiting the Manor West Centre on March 23rd to visit IT Tralee’s stand and register their interest in programmes on offer."
