Creativity, imagination and experimentation are at the heart of Bakestone, the brand new food offering at Ballyseedy Home and Garden Centre in Fota Retail Park, Carrigtwohill.

Delicious homemade treats from their café, deli and bakery are always on Bakestone menu which changes daily. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and everything in between; all food is cooked fresh in-house so diners will be treated to "lovinfromtheoven" no matter what time of day they pop in.

Bakestone is the latest business venture by husband and wife team, Joe and Maura Carey, owners of The White Horse Bar and Restaurant, Ballincollig; who are joined by Chef Ali Honour. Together, they have created 12 new jobs, and have exciting plans for the coming months.

Chef Ali says "It's amazing what you can create with imagination and a little experimentation, using even the most basic of ingredients and the simplest of ideas."

If great coffee is more your thing, the exclusive barista imported straight from Venice is right up your street, with a fantastic range of speciality coffees on offer... which will go down very nicely with the tasty cakes and pastries that are so hard to resist.

Imagination goes way beyond the food at Bakestone, and Maura says there will be regular surprises and treats instore, including an exciting schedule of weekly entertainment and activities. She says "Sundays are already a special occasion at Bakestone where our guests can enjoy Sunday Brunch accompanied by a live jazz trio. At Bakestone, we're offering much more than your run of the mill café experience, it's those little extras that make you smile which are important to our team."

Bakestone serves a full range of food from 9.30am till 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. Find Bakestone on facebook and check out photos of the tasty treats available.
