Randles Hotel Killarney to be featured in upcoming episode of ABC’s US iit romance reality series The Bachelor..

On Monday 29th June a very special edition of ABC’s hit romantic reality series The Bachelorette will air at 8/7c on ABC in the USA, featuring Ireland and Killarney as the perfect romantic backdrop.  The host hotel for this special episode of this hugely popular American series is the four-star Randles Hotel Killarney, situated on the scenic Muckross Road in Killarney.

The series, which has been enthralling viewers throughout the USA, is now in it’s 11th season and features romance, rivalry and quite possibly, true love; where one lucky girl gets the opportunity to find the man of her dreams.  This year’s Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe is currently in the midst of a romantic journey as she meets 25 handsome and charming men; and as she gets to know each one, she’ll continue to narrow the field.

In Monday’s episode, the backdrop of the show is Ireland, and in particular Killarney, with Randles Hotel Killarney hosting the remaining suitors vying for Kaitlyn’s heart.

Randles Hotel Killarney owner, Tom Randles and his team were sworn to secrecy about the filming until now.  Tom stated “This is going to be such an amazing opportunity for our team at the hotel, but also for the tourism industry in Ireland, having been given this primetime platform through one of America’s most popular TV shows.  We were sworn to secrecy up to now, but we will be busy over the next few days to make sure people in the US, as well as the Kerry and Irish diaspora tune in to this special programme that captures the beauty, the heritage, the welcome, and the range of activities right on our doorstep.”

Kaitlyn, the beautiful and fun loving Bachelorette, her gathering of suitors, and the production team arrived in Ireland via Dublin earlier on this year, and filming took place in Dublin city centre and also took in locations in Cork and Connemara.  But the main backdrop for this romantic reality show was Kerry, which is a mecca for all romantics with its breathing scenery and wide range of activities and facilities.

Tom added “When ABC was looking for a romantic location in Europe and Ireland, it’s no wonder that they chose Kerry.  Viewers will literally have a fly on the wall view with lots of secretive filming in the Hotel and in such awe-inspiring locations such as Ross Castle, Skellig Rock, Inch Beach, Dingle and Muckross House.”

Kaitlyn is truly one of a kind. She’s beautiful and fun-loving with an irreverent sense of humor. In the past, however, her playful demeanor has often kept her from opening up and being vulnerable to love. It was her experience on The Bachelor with Chris Soules that helped her finally tap into the dormant part of her heart and open herself up to the possibility of love. Although she went home without the love she desperately hoped for, Kaitlyn is thankful for her time with Chris. And now — more than ever — she is ready to let down those walls and find love again. A huge fan favorite from the beginning, Kaitlyn is excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime journey, and she is certain she’ll find her husband as the Bachelorette. Viewers of the show can follow Katilyn’s search for her soul mate in the 11th edition of The Bachelorette, Mondays (8:00–10:01 p.m., ET) on ABC.
