Tech Industry Alliance Leadership Awards Finalists Announced

Tech Industry Alliance, the leading cluster organisation connecting, growing and advancing an innovative and thriving tech and tech enabled business environment and economy across Cork and Kerry has announced the finalists for its upcoming annual Leaders Awards which takes place 10th of November in Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork.

The event celebrates the innovation and ambition of the tech ecosystem in the South West. Spread across ten categories, from tech start-ups to environmental sustainability, this year’s shortlisted finalists were selected from 120 applications from across the South-West.  

Tech Industry Alliance Chairperson, Gerry Murphy said “This has been another record year of entries for our Tech Industry Leaders’ Awards. Over 16 years ago our Leaders’ Awards began in order to recognise the excellence and quality of businesses based here in the South-West. Today, not only has the excellence and quality continued to increase, but so too has the depth and breadth of organisations which continue to innovate, disrupt and transform industries, sectors and lives across the globe” 

COO of Tech Industry Alliance, Juliette Crowley added “The South-West is truly earning its reputation as a global tech hub and our Leaders’ Awards showcase standout success stories which are helping elevate our region to the next level. The next stage of the awards will see the shortlisted organisations present to a panel of judges comprising of business leaders and experts from across the region’s business ecosystem.

The Tech person of the Year award will be selected by the Tech Industry Alliance Executive Board and goes to an individual who has demonstrated many years commitment to the tech industry in the South West region.

The Chairperson Community Award is nominated by the Chairperson of Tech Industry Alliance. This award focuses on giving recognition to a particular group or project that has positively influenced the Tech community in the South West region of Ireland.
