Q: What do you do when you have almost 103km2 of outstanding natural beauty accross the road from your front door?
A: Bring it closer, of course.
Cafe Du Parc is right on the doorstep of Killarney National Park, and so as part of a large scale renovation process, we were invited to work on the branding for this wonderful cafe and bar, to help change the perceptions that this was a bar-in-a-hotel type venue, to being a stand alone, quality-based destination venue, welcoming tourists and locals equally, and at a level of hospitality that puts the quality of the service, the food and drinks and the customer first.
Our inspiration came from the fauna and flora of the National Park, and we brought it into the Café & Bar using vintage prints of some of the local plants, as well as a French inspired hand drawn script font for the venue. We designed the over all branding, all print elements including recruitment adverts, internal notices, menus (including a 16 page drinks menu which we really really want to try…) signage, cups, stickers, online material, and even wine labels.
