Killarney Outlet Centre Goes Wi-Fi!

01 October 2008

Killarney Outlet Centre is pleased to announce the official launch of their Free Wi-Fi Internet service in the Centre to provide free wireless Internet access to its customers.

Killarney Outlet Centre Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the centre to ensure that all customers to the wide range of shops in the Killarney Outlet Centre have free access to the Internet with their wireless devices. Shoppers can take a break from shopping, and sit and enjoy a coffee at O'Brien's Sandwich Bar or Costa Coffee while they catch up on their emails, and check out the new Killarney Outlet Centre website, www.killarneyoutletcentre.com, to help decide which shop to hit next!

Wi-Fi at the Killarney Outlet Centre is free, while other operators continue to charge for Wi-Fi access, anything up to €8 per hour. Anyone can, and is very welcome to use the free service provided by the Killarney Outlet Centre once they have a laptop, Wi-Fi phone, or other suitable portable device that they can use to access the wireless connection provided.

However, customers need not worry if they don't have a laptop because they can use one of the new Internet Kiosks installed in the Killarney Outlet Centre and go online for just a small fee.

Paul Sherry, Manager, Killarney Outlet Centre said: "We're delighted with the latest introduction to the centre. Customers can sit and enjoy their favourite specialty coffee in either of our two coffee shops, and browse their favourite websites. There are an estimated 200 commercial Wi-Fi `hotspots' in Ireland, and over 90 per cent of these incur hefty usage charges, so we're proud that we can offer customers this service free of charge."
