KPMG TO SPONSOR MUNSTER BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2008

KPMG has announced it will sponsor the Munster Business Person of the Year Awards 2008.  The KPMG Munster Business Person of the Year Awards 2008,in association with Business Munster will seek to acknowledge the achievements of senior business people in the Munster region.

The black tie event, which will take place at The Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa, Little Island, Cork on Friday 21st November will be attended by over 500 guests from the Irish business community. 

The six counties of Munster will be represented on the night by 36 nominees for the awards and an overall winner will be selected from the nominees and will be presented with The KPMG Munster Business Person of the Year Award 2008.Colin O' Brien, partner-in-charge in KPMG Cork said of the new sponsorship agreement, "KPMG is delighted to be title sponsor of the KPMG Munster Business Person of the Year Awards 2008.  . The KPMG Munster Business Person of the Year Awards 2008 is a business awards initiative by Business Munster magazine in conjunction with its corporate sponsors for the 2008 awards. Members of the judging panel for the business awards include Dr. Chris Coughlan, Hewlett Packard Ireland and President Elect of Chambers Ireland, Frank O' Donoghue, CEO Clonmel Chamber, Jackie Lavin (Judge of TV3's The Apprentice), Michael Mulcahy, CEO Business Munster,Manus O' Callaghan Chairman of Southern Advertising, and James O' Sullivan Chairman of M&P O' Sullivan
