VERDE LED, a leading Irish manufacturer of commercial energy saving LED lighting solutions, has announced details of a €5 million fund they now have available for customers to finance their energy efficient lighting needs. The announcement was made at this year’s SEAI Energy Show, held at the RDS, Dublin 4, on Thursday 28th of March – where VERDE LED shared a stand with partners, SSE Airtricity.

A slice of this €5 million fund is available, interest free, to customers who wish to sign up and receive financing directly with VERDE LED for products, without the need for involvement of any third party financial institutions. This enterprising approach, which saves both energy and cash flow, presents the opportunity for VERDE LED’s potential customers to seamlessly make the switch to energy efficient lighting. An additional benefit of the finance package is that VERDE LED maintains the lighting systems for the duration of the contract – which means that the customer does not need to allocate any maintenance budgets, which allows for further potential savings to be made.

Speaking at the launch, Daran Smith, Commercial Director of VERDE LED said “VERDE LED are delighted to announce the launch of a €5 million fund that our customers can avail of to finance their lighting upgrades. At VERDE LED, we are invested in our client’s projects, so offering interest- free financing was the progressive next step for us to solidify this investment directly. Creating cost–saving energy efficient solutions is the way towards a more accessible and greener Ireland. It’s a real win–win option for clients who wish to upgrade to energy saving solutions without bearing the full costs of upfront payments, with the added benefit of improving their carbon footprint.”

A market leader and one of the largest commercial LED lighting manufacturers and suppliers in Europe, VERDE LED offers a wide range of lighting solutions using premium LED chip technology primarily for commercial purposes. The products offer huge energy usage savings, more effective lighting, and a much longer life cycle, leading to significant cost savings up to 80%.

The SEAI Energy Show is Ireland’s leading B2B sustainable energy event and a must visit for businesses and organisations who wish to switch to clean energy solutions. At the two day event, attendees and suppliers of energy efficient or renewable energy products and services, have the opportunity to exhibit, network, attend expert seminars and demonstrations and were even offered the chance to test drive electric vehicles at the showcase.

According to Jim Gannon, CEO of SEAI “€90 million of business orders were made as a result of the 2018 Energy Show” – a statement that clearly demonstrates the impact for exhibitors and also highlights the demand in Ireland for cleaner energy solutions. Paul Martin, COO of VERDE LED commended the Energy Show by saying “This annual showcase (the Energy Show), hosted by the SEAI, is an excellent platform which allows us to connect directly with like-minded businesses and individuals to help create potential new links with significant revenue potential – It’s like a real–life LinkedIn for industry professionals!” Paul continued, “To have the opportunity to launch our €5 million finance fund at The Energy Show is an invaluable opportunity, as it has allowed us to directly engage with a sizable proportion of our target audience face to face.”
