Set the date in your Summer diary for Marymount’s first race day Saturday, August 17th at Cork Racecourse, Mallow. An exclusive VIP package has been announced ahead of the event that includes complimentary travel to and from the racecourse from Cork City, provided by Ireland's leading private bus and coach operator Aircoach.

On arrival to Cork Racecourse, VIP guests will be welcomed to the prime location of the Pavilion Grandstand where a reserved table awaits with their racecards. Guests will be treated to a glass of bubbly and afternoon tea, which will be served from 1.30pm. High-tea will be enjoyed with the option of observing the racing from the grandstand that is overlooking the racecourse.

Those attending will also have access to all of the events taking place within the enclosure throughout the day, which includes live music, a kidzone and many more exciting activities.

The VIP guests will also be encouraged to take part in the Best Dressed competition judged by a fantastic panel including Louis Copeland of the renowned brand Louis Copeland & Sons and presenter, broadcaster and fashion designer Brendan Courtney of Lennon Courtney and award-winning stylist, author & fashion editor Annmarie O’Connor. With sponsors of the competition including Lee Travel, Lennon Courtney and Louis Copeland & Sons.

All proceeds from August 17th will go directly to Marymount’s specialist community palliative care services. This vital service offers support to people who are living at home with a serious illness in Cork City and County and is completely free of charge, running seven days a week.
