The 5th Christmas in Killarney Festival: 4th December 2009 – 6th January 2010

Over the past five years Christmas in Killarney has grown into a thriving festival attracting people from all over Ireland and Europe to Killarney, who wish to enjoy a more relaxed run up to Christmas and who wish to rediscover the magic of Christmas in one of the most beautiful settings in Ireland.  Since the first festival in 2005 it has gained momentum and recognition as one of the premium Christmas Festivals in the country, offering a wide variety of events and activities for all the family.

Already confirmed for 2009:-

• Free Santa's Lodge where children can meet Santa free of charge and leave presents under the Tree of Giving for children in need
• Children's Torch Light Parade and Turning on of the lights: 2nd December
• Open Air Christmas Markets: 5th - 6th & 12th - 13th December
• Disney's Beauty & The Beast and High School Musical, performed at the INEC
• Irish & International Craft & Food Fair
• Toys for Tots Motor Bike Run: 13th December
• Monster Pre Christmas Sale Weekend
• The Three Irish Tenors: 16th December, performing in St Mary's Church
